Learning Bird Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how the Learning Bird Android game handles information. Learning Bird contains non-personalized banner advertising on menu screens. It does not contain behavioral analytics, in-app purchases, chat, or a custom account system. THESE Initiatives does not sell personal information.
Information handled by the game
Learning Bird stores gameplay progress on your device, including scores, correct and attempted answer counts, subject history, achievement state, and settings. When you use Google Play Games Services, the game can access your Play Games player ID and display name and can submit scores, achievements, play time, and saved progress to Google Play Games.
How information is used
Gameplay information is used to operate the game, show progress, restore cloud saves, unlock achievements, and submit leaderboard scores. Settings remain local to your device. Question answers are not uploaded to Firebase. Advertising information is processed by Google to provide non-personalized ads, measure ad performance, prevent fraud and abuse, and maintain service security.
Services provided by Google
Google Play Games Services provides optional platform authentication, leaderboards, achievements, and cloud saves. Google processes Play Games profile and service activity under the Google Privacy Policy.
Learning Bird downloads versioned educational question packs from Firebase Hosting, a Google service. These requests can include ordinary network metadata such as an IP address, user agent, timestamps, and requested URLs. This metadata is processed by Google to deliver and protect the hosting service.
Advertising and consent
Learning Bird uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK and Google's User Messaging Platform to display anchored banner ads on menu, subject selection, results, progress, and settings screens. Ads are not displayed during gameplay. Every ad request is marked as non-personalized.
The Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect or receive your IP address, an approximate location inferred from it, device and advertising identifiers, app interactions, and diagnostic or performance information. Google uses this information for advertising, ad measurement, analytics, fraud prevention, and security. Data sent to Google is encrypted in transit. Google handles this information under the Google Privacy Policy and explains its Mobile Ads practices in its Google Play data disclosure.
Where required, Google's consent form is shown before an ad can be requested. If Google does not permit an ad request after that process, Learning Bird remains fully playable without ads. When Google requires a privacy-options entry point, an Ad Privacy button appears in Settings so you can review your choices. You can also manage or reset your Android advertising identifier in your device's privacy settings.
Retention and deletion
Local progress and settings remain until you clear Learning Bird's storage or uninstall the game. Cloud progress remains in Google Play Games until you delete the game's Play Games data through your Google account or Google Play Games settings. Advertising data is retained by Google according to its policies and your Google account and Android advertising settings. Learning Bird does not create a separate developer-operated account. For questions or deletion requests concerning information controlled by THESE Initiatives, contact the email below.
Security
Learning Bird uses encrypted HTTPS connections for Firebase Hosting and relies on Android and Google Play Games security controls for local and cloud data. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Children
Learning Bird is intended for users aged 16 and older and is not directed to children under 16. THESE Initiatives does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.
